We are a quickly growing local industrial company that designs and manufactures in-house industrial and military grade self-cleaning air filtration units. We are looking for a full or part time plant worker to help around the plant.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Job Tasks:

  • Revise technical specifications and manufacturing drawings as directed by supervising engineer
  • Create and complete 3D models and assemblies per engineer’s instructions
  • Assist engineer in research and prototype development

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to read and create technical drawings and documents
  • Must be attentive to detail and be able to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and time management skills requires
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Selkirk, NY
  • Must have experience using computer drafting programs (E.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar programs)

Skills & Training (Desired but NOT Required):

  • Experience with SolidWorks
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office Products
  • Experience with GD&T
  • Experience with HVAC/Refrigeration
  • Experience with 3D Printing

Aero Conditioner Company, LLC is a growing manufacturer of industrial air-conditioners and related equipment that moved to a larger plant located in Selkirk, NY. We are looking for a student in an HVAC-training program in high school or college to work as an intern to help fabricate and support our various lines of HVAC equipment.

We make a wide range of air conditioners and air-filtration equipment in our plant, even explosion-proof bottled-water coolers. As a result, you will gain experience in assembly, calibration, and related aspects of a wide range of equipment. Since we make industrial air conditioners without electronics, you will have to use valves and controls that will give you good experience. You will also work with plant inventories and equipment.

Job Type: Part-Time Position with hours that can accommodate your school schedule.

Duties:

  • Support the HVAC Team and Engineers who are responsible for developing Aero Conditioner Company, LLC and Air Cleaning Blowers, LLC products.
  • Braze, bend tubing, assemble, test, and calibrate products, troubleshoot refrigeration and electrical problems.
  • Numerous opportunities to contribute to the design of the current and future products.
  • Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are kept track of and kept in good working order.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Pursing EPA Universal License
  • Knowledge of brazing, tube bending, testing and calibration, installing and troubleshooting electrical wiring, and the other functions of a refrigeration technician.
  • Previous internship experience preferred but NOT required.
  • Physically in good health and able to lift 45+ pounds.
  • Familiarity with using basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Good communication service skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

We are looking for a refrigeration tech experienced in commercial and industrial Refrigeration/Air-Conditioning service to help fabricate and calibrate several types of HVAC equipment. This position requires proven ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems and components to assemble, calibrate and test industrial air conditioners and related equipment in our plant.

Come inside and work in a plant! No crawling in hot attics or climbing snow-covered ladders! There will be no installations or other fieldwork.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Experience in the field servicing and troubleshooting industrial and commercial refrigeration and/or air-conditioning equipment.
  • Competent in brazing, tube bending, testing, and calibrating, installing, electrical wiring, and the other functions of a refrigeration technician.
  • Good ability to read and follow shop drawings.
  • Able to communicate clearly with shop staff and managers.
  • Must work well with others and under limited supervision.
  • EPA Universal license.

Aero Conditioner Company, LLC is a growing manufacturer of industrial air-conditioners and related equipment that moved to a larger plant located in Selkirk, NY. We are looking for an experienced Computer Technician who has worked with installing Server 2019 and setting up small networks. This position is responsible for maintaining computer equipment and providing support to anyone within our organization who needs technological assistance. Should be able to maintenance and configure components/software and to install routine updates to system software. Initially, the work will be substantial and then will drop down to monthly service and as-needed repairs and other functions, such as adding new users to the network and Office 365.

Job Type: Position would be under contract, negotiable and offers hourly pay.

Responsibilities for Computer Technician

  • Set up and configure computers and peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, etc.
  • Perform audits and tests on computer systems, networks, and hardware to ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Respond to support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise on site or remotely as appropriate.
  • Be available on-call throughout the week.
  • Attempt to replicate reported technical problems and look for solutions.
  • Ensure all software and hardware is up-to-date and install updates as required.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to avoid system outages and failures.
  • Maintain computer network, system, and hardware documentation for colleagues to reference.
  • Train staff on how to effectively use computer systems and components.

Qualifications for Computer Technician

  • 1+ years’ experience in a technical support or customer service role are desired.
  • Ability to understand and brainstorm creative solutions to complex problems is essential.
  • Must have strong time management skills and work productively with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity and understanding of the functions of basic computer hardware and software.
  • Ability to explain technical problems in layman’s terms.
  • Must have sound analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Applicants certified by Microsoft as a “Small Business Specialist” preferred.
