Ways to Use an Air Cleaning Blower

Air Cleaning Blowers can be integrated into industrial systems that need a continuous supply of cleaned air. Different installations use them for ventilation, positive pressurization, pre-cleaning, localized airflow, or equipment cooling.

1. Ventilation & Air Changes

Air Cleaning Blowers can supply cleaned air to rooms, enclosures, and equipment requiring continuous ventilation. They are particularly useful in dusty environments where untreated incoming air could cause contamination or equipment problems.

2. Pressurization & Purging

ACBs can supply cleaned air to help maintain positive pressure inside equipment enclosures, control rooms, and other protected spaces. Positive pressure helps reduce the entry of surrounding dust and debris. Applications requiring safety-rated purging must be separately engineered and evaluated.

3. Pre-Cleaning Air

An ACB can be installed ahead of conventional filters or air-handling equipment to remove a portion of incoming dust and debris. This can reduce contaminant buildup on downstream filters and potentially extend their service intervals.

4. Spot Cleaning

ACBs can direct cleaned airflow toward specific machines, workstations, or other localized areas. This allows targeted air cleaning without requiring ventilation of an entire room or building.

5. Clean Air for Cooling Equipment

Dust buildup can reduce the effectiveness of electrical and mechanical cooling equipment. ACBs can supply cleaned air to compatible cooling systems, helping limit dust accumulation while maintaining airflow.
